111 years of History

In 1901, Nellie O. Lincoln & The Rev. James Otis Lincoln shared a vision of a place for children and young adults to experience the sacredness and the healing of heart that they believed was experienced when presented with the opportunity to interact and be a part of nature. Nellie’s vision has been realized and has grown over the years as more land was acquired, additional structures were built, and most important, an increase in the number of people who have camped or attended a retreat at St. Dorothy’s.

Today St. Dorothy’s serves approximately 400 children each summer, provides programs for 400 children throughout the year and has a year round retreat ministry providing adults in the community and the church a sacred place for renewal and refreshment.
